Ahead of the Pufendorf IAS very first seminar to forward transdisciplinary migration research on 25th September, Professor Mo Hamza discusses the concept of environmental migration: who is an environmental migrant? What does the concept actually mean?

The seminar, Ecologies of Migration - Interlinkages between Resources, Mobility and Environmentfocuses on the interlinkages between resources, environmental challenges and mobility. It explores the understanding of migration as an adaptive strategy for humans; facing challenges ranging from environmental pressures to violent conflicts.
