Workshop: Lund University as Driver of Social Innovation?

Other
During Spring 2018, the Social Innovation research group conducted individual interviews with decision makers, practitioners and researchers at Lund University. The purpose of the workshop is to present the results of our interviews and to initiate a dialogue in order to increase the ability of the university to support social innovation initiatives by highlighting: What is social innovation? Why and how do universities engage in social innovation? What has been the role of Lund University in supporting social innovation initiatives in the past? How can Lund University become an agent of change through social innovation?

As a keynote speaker, we have invited Dr. Gilda Farrell, Senior Expert on Social Innovation. Dr. Farrell holds a doctoral degree in Economics, and has long professional experience from both private and public social undertakings, including as Head of Social Cohesion, Research and Early Warning Division, Council of Europe.
