Organisation and Management

The Pufendorf Institute's activities are funded by the Vice-Chancellor. In addition to these funds, the institute receives generous funding for the International Fellows Programme from the LMK Foundation and for stimulating interdisciplinary activities from the Grace S Sandblom Foundation.

The Institute's day-to-day operations are led by the Institute's Director, who reports to both the Board and directly to the University management. The Director is responsible for the work environment not only for the staff here but also for the members of our groups when they work at Pufendorf IAS.

Stacey Ristinmaa Sörensen is the Director of the Pufendorf IAS during 2025-2027.
