Welcome Antoinette, NordIAS Fellow from Aarhus

Today we welcome Antoinette Fage-Butler, associate professor at the Department of English at Aarhus University She is here at the Pufendorf IAS as part of the NordIAS Fellowship exchange and will visit the Institute for a week this time around, returning for a second week in autumn.

With The NordIAS Fellowship exchange, researchers at Institutes taking part in the NordIAS network may vist other IAS´s to collaborate with researchers on site. This year, we welcome Antoinette Fage-Butler,  Associate Fellow at Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies.

Antoinette has a humanities background and a strong research focus on communicating risk and trust in science relating to environmental topics.  She is currently leading a Danish group on an international project on historic media coverage of flooding in Denmark, comparing it to historic media coverage of flooding in Italy undertaken by Italian partners from the field of science communication, and she has also investigated climate change communication from a risk perspective. 

While in Lund, Antoinette will connect with the Theme Ecological Loss and Damage.
