We are what we eat. Perspectives from medicine, technology and culture.
Food involves everybody and concerns many aspects of life. On one level it provides the fuel for our bodies, and proper nutrition is essential for good health. But food is also central to our culture, where the meal is an important platform for social interaction and food is an integral part of festivities and celebrations. At the same time the food sector is an important driver of science and innovation for a more healthy and sustainable society.
Welcome to a conversation with experts approaching food from different disciplinary perspectives. The discussion focuses on how culture, medicine and technology work together towards healthy, appealing and sustainable food that is available to all.
